Burglary: At 1:12 a.m. Sept. 24, someone entered a house on Norman Road through an unlocked rear door and walked around the house. One of the residents called out the name of another resident, thinking he was making the noise. When the intruder heard the voice, he left the house. Nothing appeared to be missing from the house.

Burglary: Between 10 p.m. Sept. 23 and 7 a.m. Sept. 24, someone broke a window, entered the shop at 2555 Monroe Ave., and stole state inspection stickers.

Petit larceny: Between Sept. 20 and Sept. 23, someone stole a backpack from an unlocked vehicle that over the course of three nights had been parked on Boniface Drive, on Via Costa and on Thackery Drive.

Criminal mischief: At 6:25 p.m. Sept. 26, individuals damaged paint and scratched parking lot guard rails while performing tricks on the rails at 885 S. Winton Road.


Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: On Sept. 21, a 33-year-old Brockport man was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and other offenses. The man allegedly took a vehicle from a Barry Street home without permission and did not return it when directed to.

Menacing: On Sept. 23, a 63-year-old Brockport man was arrested for second-degree menacing after he allegedly made threatening statements while holding a knife at a home on Main Street.

Criminal possession of a controlled substance: On Sept. 23, a 24-year-old Rochester man and a 22-year-old Rochester woman were each charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of marijuana.


DWI: A Macedon woman was charged after she was stopped by Ontario County Sheriff’s Office deputies after she was allegedly speeding down County Road 8 on Sept. 23.
