Senior Times is published the last Sunday of each month. The deadline for submissions to Senior Update and the Senior Calendar for the next issue is 5 p.m. April 24.

April 4

Rainbow City Senior Citizens Club meets at 10 a.m. in the community center for a program and covered-dish luncheon.

Sardis Seniors meet from 8 a.m. to noon weekdays in the senior center in the Sardis Community Center. All adults are welcome. Call 256-593-6432.

April 5

Attalla Golden Age Senior Citizen Club meets at 10 a.m. each week at the Attalla Community Center.

Carver Senior Citizens Club meets at 11 a.m. in Carver Community Center.

Elliott Senior Citizens Club has a regular meeting at 1 p.m. in Elliott Community Center.

Cherokee County Chapter 3216, American Association of Retired Persons, meets at 10 a.m. in the Cherokee Assisted Living Center. The meeting is open to the public. Lunch and games are available following the meeting.

Southside Seniors meet at 10 a.m. in the Southside Community Center for bingo.

Sardis Seniors meet from 8 a.m. to noon weekdays in the senior center in the Sardis Community Center. All adults are welcome. Call 256-593-6432.

April 6

El Señor Club meets at 10 a.m. in the Senior Activity Center.

Goodyear Retirees meets at 11 a.m. in the union hall on Hoke Street. A covered-dish luncheon is served. Bring a door prize.

Gadsden Parks and Recreation Department sponsors a dance for all city senior citizens from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Senior Activity Center. Cost is $5. The Outlaw Band plays.
