Sophomore guard Matej Kavas selected to the preseason All-WAC second team by the media and coaches.

The Seattle University men’s basketball team was picked by the media and conference coaches to finish fifth in the Western Athletic Conference in preseason polls.

The Redhawks, which has seven returners, are led by reigning WAC Freshman of the Year Matej Kavas, sophomore guard Morgan Means and redshirt junior center Aaron Menzies, who missed the latter end of the 2016-17 season with a foot injury.
