Inspired by the new season of “Flipping Out,” we poked around on our own to find some real estate diamonds in the rough. Here’s a sampling of Orange County homes we spotted along the coast — either by the water or close to it — on the market as fixers. (Disclaimer: We were just window shopping, not performing home inspections!) We’ll circle back in the future to see what these houses sell for, and how they turn out.
