WAUPUNÂ â National Bank of Waupun is undergoing a name change on Aug. 1.Â
As it changes its charter, the 132-year-oldÂ bank will become NBW Bank, but everything else will stay the same, according to a news release announcing the move.Â
As the bank’s board of directors changed the bank from a national charter to a state charter, it was required to remove the word “national” from its branding.Â Â
“WhenÂ considering options for a new name we wanted to maintain a connection to our past history while reaffirming our commitment to our customers going forward,” the bank wrote in a release.Â Â

The bank’s ownership, board of directors and staff will remain the same after the name change.
