TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) — The Florida State Seminoles take to the road for their first true road game of 2017 as they look for their first win of the season against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Cuttin’ the edge: 4Q, 13:57 – WF 19-16
Wake is able to drive down the field – going 59 yards in seven plays – and Matt Colburn caps the drive off with a seven-yard touchdown run.

END OF THE THIRD QUARTER – FSU 16 – WAKE FOREST 12
It was a quick 15 minutes and the Noles offense has looked…better…than it did for a majority of the first half, but it still isn’t completely clicking.

A bad snap over the head of Wolford leads to the Deacons fumbling the ball, twice, and on the second fumble the Noles recover. FSU has it on their own 29 yardline.

After a stop-and-go drive, the Noles settle for another field goal.

If there’s a theme in tonight’s game, it’s “settling for field goals.”

Missed opportunities everywhere: 3Q, 12:40 – FSU 13-12
This would be a far different game if Wake could take advantage of the deep punts instead of letting them go into the endzone.
