Digital Fuel today announced updates to its IT Business Management product suite with new features for defining, measuring and benchmarking metrics. The new Metrics Engine provides all the tools needed to use metrics to improve performance, make decisions, drive strategy and direction, and to improve communication of the value of IT to the Business.

The Metrics Engine includes a single inventory of all metrics, powerful tools for configuring new metrics, flexible benchmarking, security controls and pre-configured reports. The Metrics Engine is available for all three Digital Fuel Editions so that organizations can track metrics for cost, service level performance, vendor performance, hybrid cloud and business value.
Preconfigured Metrics and Reports
To make it easy to get started, the Metrics Engine includes twenty-eight (28) preconfigured metrics. The preconfigured metrics include financial metrics from the Digital Fuel cost model, cloud metrics for multi-cloud management and business value metrics for showing and improving the business value of IT.
