Commuter Air Technology (CAT), a global provider of customized aircraft modifications for commercial and government applications, was named the 33rd fastest-growing private company in Oklahoma City at the 2017 Metro 50 Awards hosted by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. CAT has been a Metro 50 Award recipient seven times.
“Commuter Air Technology is honored to be recognized again as one of Oklahoma City’s fastest-growing private companies,” said Darryl Wilkerson, CAT President. “We appreciate our City, State, and Federal Representatives in Government and the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce who all work tirelessly to preserve and enhance the business-friendly environment we enjoy in Oklahoma City and the great State of Oklahoma.”
“We are grateful to our customers who entrust some of their most sensitive operations into our care – with the full confidence that we will deliver,” Wilkerson added. “Lastly, I am personally appreciative to the employees and shareholders of Commuter Air Technology, without whom, none of the achievements for which we have been honored are possible. This recognition is in honor of their hard work and commitment to our strategies and ultimate success.”
During the banquet, CAT was featured for developing innovative technologies for its customers and creating dynamic work environments for its employees. A recent Innovator of the Year Honoree nomination for its special mission aircraft enhancements along with earning numerous FAA supplemental type certificates (STC’s) for its proprietary line of products supported CAT’s Metro 50 acheivement.
