What WWE has planned for Kurt Angle’s next big feud on RAW

While it wasn’t quite the return we were all hoping for, having Kurt Angle back on our screens weekly as general manager of Monday Night RAW is certainly better than nothing.

Ever since his Hall of Fame induction was announced earlier this year, fans were living in the hope that it would eventually turn into an in-ring return; but that still looks highly unlikely at the minute.

He’s featured prominently on programming since then, mainly because he had a storyline of his own unfolding on the red brand which had fans wondering what it could be.

The assumption was that it would result in the on-screen return of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, with a match against The Game a possibility, especially when you take their history into account.

Instead, it was revealed that Jason Jordan is his son as he was brought over to RAW and it effectively dissolved American Alpha, with Chad Gable remaining on SmackDown LIVE.

With this decision, it’s expected that Jordan will receive a significant push moving forward and his big SummerSlam plans could kick off as early as next week on RAW.

Currently, he’s booked to appear in a MizTV segment with Sportskeeda reporting that Jordan will challenge The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship at the biggest party of the summer in Brooklyn next month.

FEUD

It doesn’t end there, though, as the same source is reporting that Jordan could actually dethrone the A-Lister to capture his first singles title in WWE, and that could trigger Angle’s next big storyline on RAW.

If this is how it all unfolds, then it’s thought that The Miz will begin to complain about nepotism in WWE where he’ll then begin lobbying for Angle to be fired from his job as general manager of RAW.
