The Phoenix Suns have a very young core, each player underneath 24 with the ability to develop into the next great Sun. But which one of the core is most likely to be the most valuable in the next three years – the very season that Robert Sarver has already stated will be the season where they will best compete?
5: Davon Reed and Derrick Jones Jr.
These two pieces of the timeline have the most ambiguous future in the purple and orange. Reed has all the makings to be an elite “3 and D” wing in the NBA, in the mold of a Raja Bell-type. Jones looks to be in the same mold, but substitute the “3” for “freakish dunks.” If Jones is able to develop any semblance of an offensive game he could be the real surprise of the young Suns core.
4: Tyler Ulis:
