Spurs full-time ratings vs Roma: Vincent Janssen, Harry Winks and Nkoudou make an impact

Hugo Lloris

Could do nothing about Under’s rocket of a shot from near the penalty box to double Roma’s lead and was beaten late on. 5

Kieran Trippier

Looked to get forward as much as possible and put in a great cross to Kane right in front of goal which was touched behind for a corner. Was on free-kick duty and hit some decent ones. 6

Toby Alderweireld

His usual calm self with a couple of fine interceptions and looked to marshal Carter-Vickers through the first half but could not get across to bail out Wimmer for the second goal. 7

Jan Vertonghen

Mousa Dembele

Used his strength well and good to get another start under his belt after his foot operation. Was subbed in the second half. 6

Christian Eriksen

Didn’t have the same impact as he did against PSG. 5

Anthony Georgiou

Showed a couple of nice touches, but didn’t have the awareness of others in tight situations. Did go on some direct runs though that ended with shots. 6

Dele Alli

Struggled to make an impact but did get a low shot on goal early on that tested Alisson. Started to get riled up in the second half and was substituted. 5

Harry Kane

Made a nuisance of himself and smashed a superb swerving volley that the keeper had to parry away at full stretch. Got involved in a couple of flashpoints in the second half himself before being withdrawn. 6

Subs

Tashan Oakley-Boothe

Played in his natural central midfield role but…
