Participants are encouraged to choose a picture of some object from their family’s history to be included with a short write-up that tells the story of how they came to America or some other interesting family story.
Anyone wishing to be part of this fun and unique event can pick up a brochure at either branch. Stories to be displayed at both libraries and participants can remain anonymous.
Stories are being collected through June 17. The project culminates with the 10th anniversary of the founding of the East Anaheim Branch. Contact Cynthia Hicks, East region supervising librarian, at 714-765-6442 for additional information.
