PRMA is expanding breast reconstruction options for women and is among the first in the area to perform this advanced approach to breast reconstruction that hides scars, minimizing the daily emotional reminder of surgery.

With Hidden Scar™ Mastectomy and Breast Reconstruction surgery, PRMA surgeons, and several breast surgeons on the team, are able to perform a mastectomy through a small single incision in the natural crease beneath the breast, called the inframammary fold. This preserves the natural shape of the breast while reducing visible scarring. When combined with nipple-sparing mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction, patients experience optimal clinical and cosmetic outcomes with little to no visible scarring.
