It’s been a tough old few months for Coleen Rooney after her bad boy hubby Wayne was busted drink driving behind the wheel of another woman’s car .
And now it’s been revealed that the pregnant star is planning to eat her own placenta when she gives birth, by having it turned into “mood balancing pills” which claim to stave off depression.
“Thank you so much for my gorgeous surprise box @Placentaplus1… Exciting,” tweeted Coleen, who was spotted not wearing her wedding ring on October 8.
It’s not the first time that Coleen, 31, – who has sons Kai, seven, Klay, four, and Kit, one, with footballer Wayne – has chowed down on her after-birth.
She also gobbled down the goodness-packed pills after welcoming Kit in January 2016, and said they left her feeling “positive”.
“They had a slightly metallic taste and they definitely made me feel energised. I felt full of very positive energy and it helped with a number of pregnancy symptoms such as the produce of milk,” she told the Daily Mirror.
“I slept really well and they helped to stabilise my weight after having Kit.
“Everyone has a different reaction but in my case they were great. There are so many ways to do it now so research what’s best for you.”
Meanwhile, her latest post also sparked speculation that she’s expecting a girl this time around.
Remarking on the pink box the pills came in, one follower asked, “Does this mean you’re having a girl?”
Cue radio silence from Coleen.
