‘Person of interest’ identified in connection with two Thursday bank robberies

ANCHORAGE (KTUU) – 5/26 UPDATE:

Police have identified what they’re calling a “person of interest” in two bank robberies on Thursday.

They say Jennifer Trengove, 41, has been developed as someone police are looking for, after she was seemingly caught on two security cameras during bank robberies in Anchorage.

The second location was, like the first, an Alaska USA FCU bank. It was located at 310 Northern Lights Boulevard.

A teller called police stating they had been robbed after a female demanded money under similar circumstances as the first robbery on Dimond Boulevard.

It is not clear if this suspect used a red Ford truck to get away from the scene of the second crime. Witnesses told police that she was last seen leaving on foot.

Police aren’t entirely calling Trengove a suspect, however they say the description of the suspect in the second robbery is “comparable to the description of the female suspect.

Photos have been released showing the second robbery suspect.

Police described Trengove as a white female, 5’07” tall, and 220 pounds.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more informaiton becomes available.
