Second-seed Oak Harbor has four girls who could play point guard.

Third-seed Toledo Rogers has one guard who scores 22.4 points. Sophomore Zia Cooke also averages 5.7 rebounds for the Rams, who play the Rockets at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Anthony Wayne in a Division II district semifinal.

“We know Thursday is big-time ball against a program that’s been at the state level for several years,” Oak Harbor coach Tom Kontak said. “We’re excited and we feel we have a game plan. We have balance to create problems.”

Kontak has emphasized two things.

“Get the ball from the backcourt to the frontcourt without turning it over while continuing to attack the basket,” he said. “And we can’t let their three best players beat us. We have to control them.”
