The new river cruise division at Crystal Cruises has added four short sailings on the Danube. 

Crystal River Cruises’ soon-to-debut Crystal Mahler will sail three seven-day “Danube Serenade” itineraries between Budapest and Vienna, and one 11-day “Reflections on the Danube” voyage in the region during April and May.

Crystal Mahler is otherwise scheduled to operate 16-day “Grand Europe” trips between Amsterdam and Budapest. The sailings will take place on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers.

Scheduled to debut in September, the 106-passenger Crystal Mahler will be Crystal’s third river ship. The line’s first river ship, the 154-passenger Crystal Mozart, debuted in 2016. A second Crystal river vessel, the 106-passenger Crystal Bach, is due in August. Crystal Bach and Crystal Mahler will be sister ships of the same design.
