Here are 3 things you can’t believe happened on Season 7 Episode 2 of ‘Game of Thrones.’

Are the ice and the fire finally meeting on Game of Thrones?

When we last checked in with our two favorite rulers, Jon had departed Winterfell bound for Dany’s island stronghold of Dragonstone. Dany invited Jon to bend the knee to the true heir to the Iron Throne. Jon went to negotiate for an alliance and the mountain of dragonglass that Dragonstone sits on top of, which he needs to make weapons to fight the White Walkers. Oh and did we mention that Jon is secretly Dany’s nephew but neither of them know it?

In the new images, it appears that Jon makes landing on Dragonstone’s beaches and then appears in Dany’s audience chamber, with her sitting on her family’s ancestral throne.

Also of note? Dany conferring with Varys, whose loyalty she questioned at the beginning of Episode 2, though she ultimately forgave his past transgressions.

Varys also is seen with Melisandre, who returned to Dragonstone where she once advised Stannis Baratheon. Jon banished her from the North at the end of Season 6 for her part in burning Shireen Baratheon at the stake. Varys, meanwhile has an inherent distrust of denizens of the Lord of Light due to his past.
