FNU Powerhouse in conjunction with Dr. Jose Regueiro Foundation will hold its second annual “The Many Faces of Domestic and Teen Dating Violence” rally Thursday, October 12 at 10 AM at Florida National University’s campus, 4425 W. 20th Avenue, Hialeah, Florida.

Among the movers and shakers are Director, Miami-Dade Police Department, Juan Perez, the Coral Gables Police Department, Homeland Security, and a string of banks, restaurants and other businesses in the South Florida area. There are a total of 85 organizations that make up FNU Powerhouse with 700 to 1,000 attendees at every event.

Thursday’s event is about bringing awareness to such crimes and recognizing that it’s not a gender-related offense. Domestic violence does not discriminate. It crosses social and economic boundaries.
