District losing 2 original tenants; ReStore relocating; JCPenney liquidation – Orange County Register

As it embarks on its 10-year anniversary, The District in Tustin is losing two restaurants that have been with the shopping center since it opened.

Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill closed Sunday, July 23. Chief Operating Officer David Goldstein said the chain opted not to renew its lease after 10 years at the shopping center.

“Based on future plans to grow in Orange County, it was in the company’s best interests to close this restaurant and identify other locations that meet all criteria, including optimal on-site parking for guests,” Goldstein told the Register in a statement.
