Constellix Releases Guide to DNS Load Balancing Strategies

This guide was designed to help our clients not just understand the different methods of DNS load balancing, but also see how easy it is to implement them for their own organizations.

Constellix, a revolutionary traffic management suite developed by the same team behind DNS Made Easy, has released a new guide for DNS load balancing.

DNS load balancing offers crucial advantages over traditional load balancing as it operates independently of other services. Specifically, Constellix DNS allows users to make custom rules for more accurate load balancing.

Constellix recently hosted a webinar on the same subject which introduced clients to a new type of load balancing called ITO (Internet Traffic Optimization).

ITO load balancing uses real-time response times to automatically route users to the fastest endpoint. This can be used to speed up CDN delivery, manage multi-cloud environments, and globally distributed systems.

“This guide was designed to help our clients not just understand the different methods of DNS load balancing, but also see how easy it is to implement them for their own organizations,” says President of Constellix Steven Job.

The guide covers four different types of load balancing, including ITO, with detailed use cases and video demos of how to set it up in the Constellix control panel.

The entire guide is available for free on the Constellix website.
