Brad Schmett Announces Annual Memorial Day Flower Drop Draws Home Buyers To The Palm Springs Area

Monday, May 29, 2017 is the Memorial Day Flower Drop at the Palm Springs Air Museum

The greater Palm Springs area is very proud of its veterans and we never miss an opportunity to honor them.

Brad Schmett, of Brad Schmett Real Estate Group and Keller Williams Realty today announced that the upcoming Memorial Day Service and Flower Drop set for 1 PM at the Palm Springs Air Museum on Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs will be a big boost for Palm Springs area real estate as current military, veterans, dignitaries and the local community come together to honor fallen military heroes.

Activities begin at 10 AM followed by the 1pm service which includes a flyby and flower drop of more than 3000 red and white carnations from a B-25 Mitchell Bomber. The annual event is always highly anticipated in the Coachella Valley and is the premier Memorial Day tribute to military veterans. As usual, the whole day will be filled with flight exhibitions, 82nd Airborne World War II reenactors and this year, the Heatwave Band. A beer garden for adults 21 and over will also be featured.

Schmett spoke about the tribute, “The greater Palm Springs area is very proud of its veterans and we never miss an opportunity to honor them. The Memorial Day event at the Palm Springs Air Museum is an annual tradition that brings everyone together on behalf of our esteemed military veterans. This year will feature special guest, our local US Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz. I know I am looking forward to a busy weekend over Memorial Day along with my team, as we salute our own local heroes.”

This year there will be rides in the Stearman throughout the day except during the ceremony and flower drop. Rides in the C-47 will also be made available. All…
