Church Announces Survival Plan for Iraq’s Suffering Christians

[ad_1] Archbishop Bashar Warda of Erbil has unveiled plans to provide a future for Iraq’s displaced Christians — despite fresh reports showing the extent of the destruction of their homes in the Nineveh Plains. Archbishop Warda said the Churches aim to rebuild “so that the IDPs are able to return to the villages of their forefathers with hope and security”. The Chaldean archbishop stressed that reconstruction could not begin until Mosul is liberated and villages are cleared of bombs and booby traps. Dog Found Abandoned In Cage On Hingham Sidewalk « CBS Boston

[ad_1] HINGHAM (CBS) – Police in Hingham are searching for the person who abandoned a dog on the side of the road. He’s a friendly little guy, a pretty healthy Shih Tzu mix says the vet, abandoned under somewhat odd circumstances. “It looks like they might have attempted to do the right thing,” said Hingham Police Sgt.
