According to the report released by Metropolitan Police on Friday, the teenage girl was attacked multiple times between 11:55 p.m. on September 29 and 12:55 a.m. on September 30 upon leaving a nightclub in Tower Hamlets. The identities of the three alleged attackers have not been released, however grainy footage of the attacks have been recovered.
The first attack appeared to have occurred on Cambridge Heath Road, where suspect No. 1 is shown in CCTV footage carrying the victim. The suspect brought the teenage girl to a nearby doorway and is later seen walking away with the girl’s clothing found nearby.
As the victim continued to stumble down Mint St., less than a quarter mile from the site of the first attack, a bearded man on a bicycle began to follow. Suspect No. 2 is seen to be wearing a backward hat, paired with dark clothing. The victim is followed until reaching Corfield St., where it is seen on footage the suspect approached her. It appeared the suspect directed the girl to a secluded area, and when the two appear again on footage, the victim’s clothing is disarranged.
The third and final attack is believed to have happened around 12:45 p.m., just minutes after the second attack. However, the third attacker is possibly accompanied by other individuals. Though footage has not been found of the incident, a member of the public called the police after discovering the victim on the ground on Corfield St. in a state of distress. It is believed the victim was drugged during the third attack, according to a report by the Sun.
